Win a free track day with Maria Costello & IAM RoadSmart
IAM RoadSmart have announced a unique opportunity to win a day with Maria Costello MBE on her track day training course at Donnington Park on the 20th September. Through this prize draw, IAM RoadSmart is encouraging women riders to recognise track day training as a useful approach to increasing their skills and general motorcycle road safety.
Maria is affectionately known as the ‘Queen of Bikes’ and has a career spanning two decades, including over 40 Isle of Man TT starts and is the first woman ever to claim a podium – 3rd in the Ultra Lightweight category (2005). In 2004, Maria lapped the Snaefell mountian course at an average speed of 114.73 mph, resulting in a Guinness World Record, that remained unchallenged for a further five years.
Maria Costello MBE was appointed IAM RoadSmart road safety ambassador earlier this year and promotes IAM RoadSmart in the field of motorcycle safety through her various public appearances around the UK.
Maria said: “This the perfect opportunity for female riders to get together in good company to boost their confidence, learn how to enjoy their riding more, learn useful skills and techniques that they can take with them to be safer on the road.”
