Supporting Midlands Air Ambulance Charity
In 2015, the Midlands Air Ambulance flew 126 missions that involved a motorcycle accident. This equates to one flight every three days where the Midlands Air Ambulance was deployed in support of a biker. Looking at the big picture, in 2015, around one-fifth of all Midlands Air Ambulance attended road traffic accidents involved a motorcycle rider and with average costs of £2500 per mission, these 126 incidents would have cost in excess of £315,000 – all funded through the dedicated support of charitable fundraising activities. Help us to raise £10,000 for the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity
Whilst the mission of VideoBiker is to help riders to keep it on the black stuff, the fact is that every day over fifty UK motorcycle riders are involved in accidents that result in life changing injuries. Like other Air Ambulance services, the Midlands Air Ambulance is frequently on the front-line, endeavouring to ensure that serious injuries don’t become fatalities. In recognition of this commitment to the regions motorcycle community, VideoBiker will promote site fundraising activities in support of the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.
