Module One training tips & videos

You are here: VideoBiker / About / MOD1 motorcycle training tips

MOD 1 was introduced as the first ‘module’ of a two part motorcycle test in 2009. Candidates are required to have passed their motorcycle theory test and Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) before Module 1 can be taken. This first module is conducted at a DVSA Motorcycle Manoeuvring Area (MMA) and assesses that a rider has sufficient competency to continue to road based Module Two instruction and testing. The Module 1 test usually lasts about 20 minutes and includes manual handling, slow control, and three ‘riding the circuit‘ exercises, where minimum speeds are required.
