Having passed her CBT and DAS in June 2015, Michaela brings an essential ‘new rider’ bias to the Advisory Panel. Her recent experiences of motorcycle training and of venturing onto the roads for the first time are proving invaluable. In her first year, Michaela has enjoyed regular commutes to work. She has embarked on two European tours – first through Normandy and more recently to Alvor in Southern Portugal. Michaela describes these trips as defining moments, not only on her ‘bikers journey, but also for their sense of personal achievement.
Michaela’s pride and joy is a Kawasaki ER6F – affectionately known as Shirley and described by Michaela’s kids as their Mum’s BFF. For Michaela, riding a motorcycle is the fulfilment of a lifelong dream. Her next riding ambitions include advanced RoSPA and IAM qualifications.
