VideoBiker review - Alan Nettlefold
Job: NHS Porter
Rides: Honda CB500 S Twin
Type of riding: Daily & Commuting
VideoBiker course: Module One, Module Two
Latest motorcycle training: Module Two
At the time of booking my motorcycle training, I was invited to utilise VideoBiker to help me through the course. The video content was invaluable. The audio tutorials were very informative and the other materials were well laid out. Without VideoBiker I definitely would have struggled.
Whilst out on the training days I found myself more focused on the bike and how it handled and by watching the videos, correct positioning in the road and at junctions seemed to come automatically – so watching the video tutorials was a real benefit.
I passed both Module One and Module Two first time, with no faults and only three days of training. I can’t recommend these resources highly enough!
A little about me. I work for the NHS as a porter and as you can imagine, hospital car parking is a nightmare most of the time and quite expensive. I decided to switch to riding to work as I am guaranteed a parking space and its free. We all like a bit of free parking right! The money I would be spending on fuel in my car and the car park fees easily cover the cost of running my bike. I had a Lexmoto Vixen 125 as my first bike and after passing my test I upgraded to my Honda CB500 S twin. I mainly use my bike to commute and when I have time to myself, I like to go for local rides (just because I can).
