VideoBiker review - Tim Delaney
Name: Tim Delaney
Job: Project Engineer, Jaguar Land Rover
Rides: Yamaha Tracer 700
Type of riding: Pleasure & touring
VideoBiker course: Module One, Module Two
Latest motorcycle training: Module Two
VideoBiker gave a real understanding of what to expect during motorcycle training and a thorough knowledge of what is required during both the Module One and Module Two motorcycle tests. The majority of my pre-course questions were answered through the VideoBiker videos and I felt that my training time on the motorcycle was fully maximised as a direct result. Effectively, VideoBiker gave me a significant head-start and enhanced the effectiveness of the practical training.
The whole site is extremely user friendly, easy to navigate, well delivered and thoroughly informative. I particularly valued how each exercise has three different views, with in depth theory explanations then demonstrated through both rider point-of-view and examiners view. In my opinion, this is a great way for novice riders to feel completely at ease and prepared for on-bike training.
A little about me: I first rode motorcycles in my teenage years and enjoyed every minute spent on two wheels. Life then got in the way and some 30 years later, aged 48, I completed my Compulsory Basic Training and purchased a 125cc motorcycle. The buzz was back and I rode regularly for experience and in preparation for gaining my full ‘A’ motorcycle licence. I chose to do an intensive three days training and passed both Module One and Module Two with zero faults or negative comments from the examiner. I’ve just picked up a Yamaha Tracer 700 and look forward to the next chapter in my motorcycling adventure.
